General & Colorectal Surgeon with local and international experience
Born and raised in Wellington, Dr Thomas Morgan is proud to care for the community he calls home. His surgical training has taken him throughout New Zealand, as well as to the United Kingdom and Australia, where he completed advanced fellowships in colorectal surgery with a focus on laparoscopic and cancer surgery.
Today, he combines that international experience with a down-to-earth, patient-focused approach - offering safe, evidence-based care tailored to each individual.

Thomas consults and operates at Boulcott Hospital, Bowen Hospital and Wakefield Hospital, and also performs endoscopy procedures at the Rutherford Clinic. He sees private and ACC patients from across Wellington, the Hutt Valley, the Wairarapa, and the Kāpiti Coast.
Most patients are referred through their GP, but self-referrals can also be accepted. Whatever the pathway, Thomas’ mission is to provide clear, thorough, and modern surgical care that feels approachable and supportive, giving patients confidence that they are in safe hands.
